1、适用性强，可用于不同功率、不同电极直径的矿热炉。
2、由于导电元件采用了密闭设计，因此导电元件不受高温辐射影响，其温升大大低于其他形式的导电元件，导电率显著提高。
3、由于接触电阻减小，导电率的提高，加之内水冷，从而使电效率及功率因数明显提高，节能达5%以上，节材在20%左右。
4、由于结构设计合理，导电元件的使用寿命成倍提高。设备开动率明显提高，日常维护费用大大降低。
